Summer Blossoms

A valley of flowers in the truest of sense, Gangtok, a small town, snugly nestled among the towering Shivalik Himalayan peaks. From the immovable, awe-inspiring white capped Kanchenjunga to the delicate flowers that can break at a rough touch, its so humbling to be a part of such a beautiful universe.

  1. im very desperate to knw the last flower name…….plzz add d caption soon ……n btw all the pics are nicely captured,,:)

  2. the last picture, with the bright pink flowers, is crown of thorns. Wikipedia says native to Madagascar. here on Cozumel it is very common these days, usually with the pink flowers; someone gave me a cutting in November, and after a few months, finally came the beautiful blooms. i came across this blog from an image (name) search for a beautiful little flower from a grass that is blooming all over town now just for a few days — but what a discovery of this blog. GANG-TALKIES was the first page i saw, photographs of those beautiful mountain scenes — took my breath away (i live on a caribbean island, but my love is the mountains). have barely touched on the rest of the blog, but can see that it is truly beautiful in every way.
